Sephiria is a charming top-down action rogue-lite experience with pixel graphics. You play as a rabbit living in a village on the top of a tower, with the mission of changing the fate of the doomed tower. You go down through its levels, meet various animals, and collect artifacts and tablets to increase your power. That is your weapon against catastrophe. I have been thoroughly enjoying Sephiria so far. As a lifelong gamer, I’m constantly seeking titles that strike a perfect balance between challenge and enjoyment, and Sephiria delivers flawlessly. The assortment of items, characters, and creative level layouts ensures each playthrough feels distinct, while the difficulty curve is expertly crafted—demanding yet equitable, with character growth aligning seamlessly.

What truly sets Sephiria apart for me is its multiplayer mode. Having seen the developer since Dungreed—a game I enjoyed but didn’t play much because it lacked co-op—I’m delighted with this addition. Today, I play most of my gaming time with a close friend, so multiplayer included from the beginning is a huge win. Although I have not yet delved into it, the fact that this feature exists gives me so much motivation to continue playing and preparing for our first collaborative venture. The game has a very diverse set of items, and its inventory management system is improving the rogue-lite formula excellently. It adds another level of difficulty, making you dodge attacks while tactfully managing your resources.
