You take on the role of Double R, a tough-as-nails special forces hero dubbed the Rendering Ranger. Your task? Save Earth from a massive alien onslaught. And believe me, this game pulls no punches.

You’ll plow through nine epic levels that fuse intense side-scrolling battles with rapid-fire horizontal shooter phases. It’s legit one of the most jaw-dropping games ever crafted for the Super Nintendo—stretching that hardware to its max.

The emulated one gets you the complete deal, from the otherwise unreleased PAL Targa version, with all the smooth, modern amenities such as rewind and save (so you can bypass the aggravation).

The levels are huge with a cinematic flair, full of enemies rushing toward you, and guns you can upgrade to bring havoc. The shooter levels?
