New Mars, supported by its funded transhumanist values, could be a quasi-utopia—barring the unregulated corporate greed and law-enforcement power-tripping, both taking advantage of the planet’s naively unsuspecting populace. The tale itself is fairly basic, lacking complexity and staying predictable until a neat twist hits—though it’s so late you’re left with just 10 minutes of playtime before the credits roll. The post-ending follows, feeling not quite empty but undeniably underwhelming.
