Every ten years, a sacrifice is demanded to safeguard your people from the Abyss, a place as venerated as it is feared! This time, you’ve been picked and hurled into the gloom… No one has ever made it back, but perhaps you can pull off the unthinkable. Met by Nyx, residing alone with its stones in a cave, you’ve persisted for ten years. With Nyx by your side, you will try to locate a portal which may finally free you from the depths of the Abyss in this 2D game, story-filled platformer. Elypse is a challenging 2D Action Platformer concerning Fay, a character who was sacrificed and left into the abyss, now struggling to rise and get free.
Gameplay Highlights
The game presents challenging platforming obstacles that will push your abilities to their maximum, but they’re thrilling as well—you’ll learn critical skills as you progress to overcome these varied challenges. The sound and music were fantastic, a joy to listen to as you traverse every biome. Intense boss battles challenge your stamina and quick reflexes—they’re really tough, so if you don’t possess expertise, I wouldn’t recommend it. It took about 4.2 hours in all, and it was loads of fun. The graphics style is also great. I highly recommend this game if you are looking for a tough challenge.
