Start your own story in the magical town of Kalmaruss as the heir to a legendary hero. Choose your background, select your class and aesthetic, and start a fresh new life! The game is a sequel to Dungeon Dreams, although it is enjoyable as a one-off game in its own right. You’ll step into the role of the Champion of Ecallia’s child, moving to the vibrant city of Kalmaruss to join a grand Challenge hosted by Lady Elwing, a prominent Triarch of the Magic Academy. The prize? The keys to both the city and the Academy—don’t wait! Link up with Victor, your old friend already at the Academy, who’s kept a dorm room open for you. Roam the city at any time, visiting such locations as the Merchant’s Guild, Konrad’s armorer, or the Elven community, or unwind with friends over delicious sushi at a restaurant that features fish fresh from Kalmaruss’s lake.

My only criticism is that the pacing can be unbalanced at times. Job points build up too slowly, making class mastery and advancement a long slog. The combat’s otherwise a cakewalk, except for a sudden difficulty spike with the last boss. And some class balancing appears off-kilter—heavy armor warriors don’t pack a punch hard enough, and their added resilience isn’t worth much when damage is so small in the first place.
