From Rough Launch to RPG Glory
When Cyberpunk 2077 rolled out in 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, it was a hot mess—especially on consoles. The game’s tech needs outmatched the hardware, plain and simple. Fast forward to 2022, though, and a free next-gen update kicked off its redemption arc, inching closer to the vision CD Projekt RED pitched way back when.
Thanks to ongoing patches, quality boosts, and the stellar Phantom Liberty expansion, Cyberpunk 2077 now shines as one of the best sci-fi RPGs around. But beyond the official updates, the modding community’s keeping the city alive and kicking.
Meet the H10 Elevator Expanded Mod
One standout is the ‘H10 Elevator Expanded’ mod by ThaFunktopus, up for grabs on NexusMods at no cost. Riding the H10 elevator, I’ve always wondered about those skipped floors—what’s going on up there? This mod delivers the scoop.
It adds three fresh locations: a private garage at street level, an AV landing pad, and a peaceful zen garden on the 40th floor, along with every parking deck level. It’s a cool twist that makes Night City feel even bigger.
A Quick Heads-Up
There’s a small hitch: it tweaks ‘The Gift’ side-quest in Act 1, so you won’t get T-Bug’s call after ‘The Ride.’ No sweat, though—ThaFunktopus says hitting up the Kabuki Netrunner Shop will sort it out.
PC Exclusive Vibes
As with most mods, ‘H10 Elevator Expanded’ is just for PC players. If you’re on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/S, you’re still set to enjoy Cyberpunk 2077’s core greatness—just without these bonus floors.
