Bionic Bay has an interesting repo mechanic at its core, with one hell of a physics engine. Together, the two alter the very definition of environmental interaction and allow you to manipulate gravity, swap with objects and enemies, and move them defensively or offensively on the go. But beware- one slip out of the proper timing, and you could be taking a trip at best down to burning, freezing, shattering, or worse.

The world is awakened by high-density pixel art and dopaminergic sound design, where every zone is alive with fun and perilous exploration. From a personal standpoint, I was gripped until the third act, with some frustrating sequences that seemed to drag the pace down. As a trial-and-error-type platformer, Bionic Bay shines in those moments where it feels like Limbo on steroids.)
