Introduce the Vanguards Vigilante Group—Gary, Jake, Derek, and Sarah. They’re keeping it real in Avium, a Cyberpunk city wet with desert cool. They’re in it for the order, though vigilantes have lost their following status. The public’s fed up with ’em, and that’s when things get wild…

You play as Jake’s persona, codename “Diezel,” zipping around in pursuit of your arch-nemesis—Haz-Mat. Yes, it’s a thinking bot, and it’s as deadly as it sounds. As you’re exposing corruption in these jacked-up neighborhoods, you’re stripping away layers of the world’s mysteries. The more you dig, the crazier it gets—political scandals, mind-warping new drugs, crazy cybernetics, and megacorps calling the shots. Humanity’s on the brink, and you’re either saving it or burning it to the ground. Plus, there’s this eerie darkness looming that might just end it all. No biggie, huh?

There is also a flurry of game modes. Story Mode guides you along the main quest, from the heart of Avium to the craziest locales such as jungle areas. Free Mode allows you to choose three open-world zones (or four with DLC) and play untethered. Arcade Mode is where you fight bosses, learn tutorials, zombies, or elimination showdowns—all fun and checks for skill.

You’ll be right at home. And you can go stealthily, disappear, snipe, or channel Iron Man and destroy everything.

Avium’s not merely shoot-’em-up (well, all right, mostly, but hold on). Imagine dystopian capitalism, neon horizons, deep sci-fi—quantum mechanics, multiverse, black holes, hardcore science jazz. And lasers right through to the point of diminishing returns.
