As the head of an untenable, increasing settlement, a ruler has to deal with the challenge of ensuring the community sails through five harrowing times in history while holding power long enough to render some legacy.

Every choice is consequential: will you demolish ancient edifices for the sake of progress, or will you retain them for cultural pride? Can you simultaneously appease the demands of factions and keep citizens happy? One misstep can lead to rising tensions-or worse, a revolution.
