Your decision defines everything.
You’re going to wake up in some strange room. Then there are two buttons in front of you. And then the screen instructs you to press one, but think twice before going for either. Yet nothing is hidden- even if it never follows a linear path. One button alters the room, and the next turns on one of five lamps. Light them all, and you survive. Beware, though; some decisions have unintended consequences.

The combat? A little janky. Hit enemies sometimes counter mid-swing, and dodging doesn’t always seem to work as it should. But herein lies the big issue: lack of randomization. Characters and their locations stay in the same layout after every run, no surprises, no difference. This is the most significant issue holding back this experience.
