Block Fortress 2 is a combination of base-building with tower defense and wacky FPS combat. You build your fortress block by block with various traps and weapons, even calling in mercenary soldiers to assist you. Each play session is a little different, rewarding strategy as much as reflexes.

Building Options Without Restrictions – Walls, turrets, trenches—your castle, your rules.

Unpredictable Challenges – Raids from enemies, odd environmental hazards such as acid rain or lava, and a day/night cycle make it unpredictable.

Going back a few years, I played the original, and this sequel brings all the nostalgia back while adding so much more depth. As far as negative aspects go, soundtracks can get old after long hours of play, but this little detail hardly matters for a game that offers this much replay value.
