Sonic Unleashed (All DLCs/Recompiled for PC)

Aug 13 Warren Potter

Cooked up by Sonic Team and Dimps, Sonic Unleashed is a 3D platformer that dashed into North America on November 18, 2008, landing first on Wii and PlayStation 2, then popping up soon after on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. In Japan, it goes by Sonic World Adventure. It’s got that familiar 3D Sonic groove, following the trail of past games, but shakes things up with Sonic’s brand-new Werehog side.

When night falls, you’re running Werehog-Sonic through a laid-back pace, leaning hard into scrapping and exploring—this chunk takes up most of the playtime since night stages drag out longer, a switch from the speedy daylight blasts. The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions are pretty tight-knit, but they’re a step up from the Wii and PlayStation 2 cuts, which skip extras like the full overworld due to weaker tech.
